Who we are
This site is operated by Kansans for Marshall ("we," "us," or "the campaign"), the principal campaign committee for Sen. Roger Marshall, M.D., registered with the Federal Election Commission as C00576173. Mailing address: PO Box 1588, Great Bend, KS 67530.
What we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, mobile phone number, ZIP code, mailing address, employer, occupation, and contribution amount when you sign up for updates, volunteer, or donate. We receive server-log information including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, retained for 30 days.
Why we collect it
We use the information you provide to communicate with you about the campaign, process donations, coordinate volunteer activities, comply with federal and state election laws, deliver event invitations, and prevent fraud. Federal law requires campaign committees to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions to the committee aggregate more than $200 in an election cycle.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the Federal Election Commission and other regulators as required by law, with our payment processor (Anedot) to process contributions, and with vendors who help us operate the site and communicate with supporters (email service providers). These vendors are contractually limited in how they may use your information.
Email communications
By providing your email address you consent to receive campaign communications from us. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from email at any time via the link in any campaign email. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or contact us with any privacy question at press@kansansformarshall.com.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
